There are 2 metro stations at the airport: Airport T1-T2-T3 y Aeropuerto T4 to the line 8 (rose). We recommend taking the metro if you go to Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
There is a free bus from T4 to the other terminals every 5 minutes.

The bus is also a comfortable and cheap way to arrive to the center. There are some lines connected from the Adolfo Suarez- Madrid Barajas Airport to some points in the city. There is a express line connected to Chamartin and Atocha stations too.
The Express line connects the Airport with Atocha (Cibeles at night time) in just 40 minutes. The service works 24 hours. The bus stops are Airport (T1, T2, T4), O´Donnell, Cibeles and Atocha.
Other regular buses lines from EMT connect the airport with other areas in the city center:
Line 101: Airport- Canillejas (route http://www.crtm.es/tu-transporte-publico/autobuses-emt/lineas/6__101___.aspx?origen=2)
Line 200: Airport- Avenida América (route http://www.redtransporte.com/madrid/autobuses-emt/linea-200.html)
Taxi is the most confortable transport from the airport to the city center but it also can be quite expensive (around 40 euros). There are official stops at all terminals.
